a picture

Well, I really like this picture. Because I think that the landscape is beautiful and this picture brings me good memories. This picture was taken for the boyfriend of my mother (He takes very good pictures) in one day that we were to the mountain, we walked a lot. The experience was exhausting but nice (above all in the end, in the mountaintop).

This picture shows the view of the city from the mountaintop (luckily the sky was not so dirty with smog) and shows me with my boyfriend. The picture was taken in the last year, I don’t remember the month, but was in summer or spring (I think).  I remember that after to climbing the mountain we went to my house and we ate and slept a lot jajaja we were so tired.  But was beautiful can see the entire city from the top. I felt very small in comparison with the city and the landscape.

Well, in compare with English two (where we don´t have blog) I liked more English three, and I think too that I learn more. This can be perhaps because in English two we have three hours of English classes doing oral, listening and speaking activities, and that was boring and punishing. Were many hours doing the same.

Instead, I prefer have one hour doing the blog, because the activity is more free, you can write what you want (about a topic, obviously). Also I think that you learn more, because you have to search new words, how to write the sentences, and you write about the things that you like (as possible). For that I feel that I improve my English (In the ability to write more fluently), and I enjoy, as possible, the experience to have a blog, well, because I don’t really like the English jejeje and I´m don’t have many skills for this language.

The most important advantage of having a blog, are that the experience of the English classes (including the two blocks) becomes more enjoyable, dynamic, and less tedious.

It was a good experience; I hope that in English four we have a class to do a blog. 

summer :)

Really I love summer. Many people hate the summer and heat, but I don’t understand it. I don´t know how the people prefer the winter and cold days, I think that the cold days (or winter in general) are very sad and melancholic, and don´t like thisL.   Instead in the summer the people are happy and friendly, that´s nice.

The other think that I like of the summer is dress me with a few clothes. That is so comfortable, that makes me feel free jajaja. I hate be with a lot of layers of clothes, that is so uncomfortable. Also I always have cold although I use a lot of clothes.  

I like the hot weather, I think that feel heat is so nice and enjoyable (well, but not in excess). When the weather is hot I feel like to go out, take a walk, travel and do many things. But in the winter I only want sleep and be in my home, that like´s me, but not every day, that is boring.

Sometimes I feel that in winter I´m unsociable jajaja.

For that I prefer the summer, I love it. Also in summer are holidaysJ, and time to travel and go out.

  

countryside

Its difficult chooses a place, but I think that I choose my old house of the infancy in the country, because this place brings me back old and good memories (sometime I just want to return), I spent very good moments there.

When I was five years old I lived in a big plot, located near of Paine, far from the city. I lived here only one year. It had a big house and a big yard (according to my memories jajaja), and sometimes had wild animals, like horses, cows, rabbits, foxes, etc. Also we had (my family and me) an orchard and fruit trees (I liked it so much), as well it had a river and a little lake.

When I lived in this place, I liked play with my sister all of the day in the yard, we ride in tricycle (jaja) and bicycle, we played with our dogs, and in summer we played with water, and we went to the river jaja that was very funny for me, brings to me good memories.

In my memories it was a beautiful place, I hope that remains the same. 

Foucault :)

I consider Foucault an important man who contributed so much to the social science. He was born in France in 1926, and died in 1984. He was a historian, philosopher and a social theorist. He was recognized for his critical studies of social institutions, like psychiatry, medicine and prison systems. He worked in topics like power, power relations, knowledge and discourse, being a great critic of contingent topics.

Foucault it is very important because it includes social issues in the study of psychology, as well as criticized it´s structure and criticized the psychology like discipline of normalizing power, achieving a questioning about it.

He wrote many important books for the social sciences, such as “surveillance and punishment”, “the words and the things”, “the history of madness”, etc.

I like Foucault because I think that he was able to make others question their own discipline, changing the approach that we have about the discipline. I also like he because he offers a critical view of reality, including new concepts like governmentability and biopower.

Really, I like to travel all over the world, but I think that is a bit difficultL, it´s very sad (but I hope to do at some moment). Being a little more realists I like to go to every countries of Latin America. I would like travel, know, and learn about the different countries, above all Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia and Uruguay, because I like the people who live there, the culture, weather, etc. Also I think that in these places are many things to learn, that not known or not be valued. For that I think is important learn to Latin America culture.

I don’t know too much about these countries, but I’m interesting in there indigenous and native tradition, because in this places the old tradition is preserve. Well, I like to do many things, travel all of the country and known deeply the different traditions and lifestyles.

I like to study and work in these places. Study the different cultures and work with these (like a social psychologist jaja). Well, this is my dream jajajaja.      

My childhood cartoon

Actually I don´t watch too much TV, because I don’t like it or I don´t take the time for that...I don´t know. But in my childhood I remember that I watched some TV shows (I liked the cartoons), my favourite TV program, or animated cartoon, was Sailor Moon.

I really love it, because the history was so exiting, in each episode Sailor moon with her friends (the other sailors) had to confront with the villains, and Sailor Moon always won. Also Sailor Moon had a romantic history; she was in love with Tuxedo Mask, he appears in the battles to help Sailor Moon (so nice jajaja), but they were unknown in the real life. That was so exiting; I became eager with this history.

When I was little I loved the Sailor moon character, I wanted to be like she jajaja. She could to transform in a heroine and then be again the student, I wanted that jajajaja, and it was my dream.        

I hope that you too have seen Sailor Moon in your infancy :)

technology in your pants

Well, really I don`t like the technology, because I don´t understand it. I know that technology is useful, but I don`t like it, the technological things have so much buttons, keys and wires, that`s stressfulL. As well as stressful, I think the technology never works when you want, it always fail in the worst moments, when you really need it (like the printer). I think I had a bad experience with technology. Anyway, every day I have to use the technology (above all the computer and the microwave, that’s inventions are necessary for me jejeje).

I`m not a technological person, I like the old things, more simple and essentials (for example I like the old and big photographic cameras).

But I found (Thanks to Miguel) a funny technological invention, the keyboard trousers jajaja. The keyboard trouser is useless, but is comic and comfortable jajaja. That invention is for lazy people (like Miguel jajaja No, is a jokeJ).

I have been to a many concerts in my life, but the funniest concert was Calle 13 concert. This group has been many times to Chile (more of four times), but I see them only one time. I went to see them in 2009, in the theater Caupolican, in Santiago.

I went to the concert with my sister and a friend, the experience was very funny, we dancing a lot (all of the concert), then I was very tired, I had a legs ache jajajaja. This is the show I have enjoyed most in my short life.

The group was very nice and expressive with the public. The vocalist interacted a lot with people; He had a communicative way to do the concert. For that the concert was so enjoyable.

I really want to see them again, but is so expensive go to the concertsL, I hope that’s change.  

Part of my life

I was born 19 years ago, in October of 1992 in Santiago. Now, I live in La Florida (when I was little I lived in the field) with my mother and my little sister. Well, she has 17 years old, she´s not so little. Oh, also I live with my two dogs :), Alf and Hippie.

When I was little I liked to go to school jajaja, I was always in the same school, from kindergarten to high school. Going to school was funny, because the school was an alternative way of teach, more hippie and relaxed. In my school, called Latino cordillera, I met my best friends and I made very good friendships.

And then, after leaving the high school I entered to studying Psychology at Universidad de Chile, and well, this is my second year and I like so much the career.

I don´t know if I have hobbies, but I like dance (in the holidays I learned to dance Polynesian dances jajaja) and I love animals (for that I´m vegetarian five years ago). Also I love travelling (see new places and cultures), especially backpacking. The Last year I travelled to Valle del Elqui, and the year before I went to Chiloe, I love it.
